I’m Vera Basilone
I write horror that lingers – the kind that feels true because it is.
My stories take everyday fears and twist them into something that makes you pause and think differently about the world. I don’t write to shock. I write to make you reflect, question, and maybe reconsider what you think you know.
Horror, at its best, is empathy. It’s a safe space to confront the terrors we carry (fear of expectation, fear of losing control, fear of what others demand from us) by giving them shape, texture, something we can fight.
